The ride has firmed up more due to the lower profile tire than because of the drop. The OEM sport suspension was surprisingly stiff and didn't feel like the suspension was really working over certain kinds of bumps. The H&R's in comparison seem to work more progressively with the shocks. Considering how low the car comes down, the ride isn't bad at all.

With a setup like Railgunners 19's and lowering springs, there should be little to no downside to the ride.

Found a pic of a Black 07 with 20" black rims with a chrome lip, it hasn't been dropped,,,,,,,,yet.

 

Those rims are hideous.

 

i ordered black with chrome lip 20s also... this g up here is making me scared taht i ordered some wheels that wont look nice... eee

I think they will look fine on your ride, especially if you drop it. The S7 have a different look than those rims.
Here, this isn't a sedan but a Black G35 coupe with Seva S7s like you ordered. I think they look pretty good.

Hehehe... a little off topic but I currently have 295 in front and 345's in rear in my detomaso pantera, the italian sports car, and... i'm having custom designed 3 piece made forged rims made for it (my design that I did and verified strength with FEA software) and i'll be having 325's in the front and 355's in the rear.. LOL =X and still have more to spare... hehe...

Oh I was in this topic because I'm shopping around for a daily driver and your G35 with 20" rim looks nice I've been debating among many cars... 07 MB CLS 63 AMG, 07 Lexus GS 450h (hybrid), 07 Acura TL, G35x 07, or 08 SL 550 if they changed the look (and trade in my 07 SL 550). But the more and more i'm reading the more i'm digging the G35 07 sedan as a well balanced car yet have money left over to increase my stock portofilo and... looking at your car basically almost made me finish my decision! Thanks! hehehe

When I do get the 07 G35x ... it'll be the first to have triple HID projectors in each headlight

P.S. Another off topic but i'm going to HAWAII for spring break vacation with my g/f this march!!! I booked a reversation for The Kahala Hotel (it's suppose to be a nice 5 star hotel), but no one I talked to in Hawaii has ever stayed there, I figure since your.. on the Island, do you know anything about that resort? And is there any particular thing my girlfriend and I HAVE to see and check out while we're there?! =) Oh i'll be there from March 10th, til the 15th hehe saturday til thursday
