Sorry for bumping up an old thread but I wanted to say thanks to the OP since he inspired me to call Infiniti Canada and then my dealership.

So, as of February 2011 the dealership will still replace your front grill if it's PEELED off, not chipped slightly due to debris.

My warranty on my 07 coupe expires February 26 and I just got in time to have this replaced. Thanks g35 driver
