I have a new grill coming under warranty but mine isn't as bad as some of the pics I've seen here.
I will stiil probably get it covered with clear bra (3M) to protect it.

Well the Dealer just called me, my new grill is in. I will have to ask if it has been improved or if it remains unchanged. If it has not been improved it will be clear bra-ed.

The grill is covered by warranty? Well I had my car for 3 months and put 3000 miles on it and have a few marks but not as nasty as some of you guys. I just have marks from ppl that cant f*cking park and put marks on my bumpers.

My '07 G35 Sedan has about 5,000 miles and my grill looks almost as bad as yours. It's been one of my biggest disappointments in what is otherwise, a wonderful vehicle. (The fact you can't use the NAV system buttons while moving and the POOR quanity of Points of Interest in the NAV system was the other big downer.)

Anyway, given the luxury nature of this car, why they went with a cheap plastic grill that nicks like this I'll never know. I've had two Toyota Avalons and a Toyota Sequoia, all with these type of grills but after 90,000 miles on each, there was much less damage than my G35 with 5,000 miles. Definitely not good. I wonder how much a replacement grill costs to buy one? I'll bet is isn't cheap. I'll have to try the 800 number and see what response I get as well.

Well I'm booked in for the 3rd interval service and asked about the grill replacement. They said it is warrantied they just have to see it first. Well hopefully the reaction is different than when I last asked about it . I went in 2 months after I had it and the grill was terrible but at that time there was no knowledge of a replacement. They had tried to play up any other marks on the paint etc and said it was bad too. The paint had some too but nothing like the grill. So we'll see next week. Personally I think the paint is a little weak too.

Yep- my front clip and hood are bad as well. Not as bad as my grill, but maybe more frustrating as I have NO hope of it ever getting fixed without me shelling out the cash to repaint. Thats not happening-

It's just my grill that has the chips and pits, but it is getting replaced today at the Dealers. The rest of the front end is unmarked, but I also have a 3M clear bra and full bumper wrap.

Could you tell us where one might purchase the 3M Clear Bra and full bumper wrap for an Infiniti G35?

Thanks!

Perhaps one of the boys in your area will pipe up and let you know of a good reputable installer in your area. I got my last two Gs done by a company in my area of the Great white North, it's a bit too far for you in Cali
