Thanks, Clement! Still have to finish my custom cold air box for the passenger's side, then I plan to have them both overlayed in CF!

So, how you been anyway?

Thanks man! Just give Rick a call at Riverside (800-919-8130)... I got the CF engine cover from him.

Looks great. Pics like this make me want to come out of the carbon fiber retirement.

just curious, did you have your strut bar powdercoated? I am wanting to order the GTSpec strut but hate the chrome/blue so I am going to get it powdercoated.

Rick, I pm'd you for a GTspec front strut bar quote!

^Thanks for the nice words, and thanks for noticing the powdercoated end brackets. I can't stand that GT Spec blue color either, so I took the brackets to a local shop and had them powdercoated in a textured black finish for $25. They did an amazing job and the finish is actually nicer than the factory finish. I've actually had the bar on and off several times and I have yet to chip or even scratch the new powdercoated finish. I'm even thinking about pulling off all of my GT Spec chassis braces and haveing them powdercoated in the same finish as well. I've already stratched the **** out of the 6-pt rear brace, so half the blue coating is already gone from that one. LOL

Not sure if you noticed, but I also used my buffing wheel and polished off the clear coat finish and GT Spec logo off the bar, and then buffed it to a mirror finish... Definitely looks much better than before IMO.

yes, i noticed the logo was gone. I will be doing that as well. I agree, looks a lot better. Im still not sold on the mirror chrome bar though. I am thinking of powdercoating the bracket/mounting plates black and the bar a brushed aluminum type finish.

That would look sweet! I'm sure any machine shop could easily put a nice brushed aluminum finish on the bar.

Thanks, Allen! It's definitely coming along, but I still have a bunch of work left to do.

Just trying to figure out which wheels I want, then I can go back to working on the engine bay.
