Sorry.. gotta post a review of my thoughts on the car so far..
For reference, I'm coming from a 96' Lexus SC300 manual. The first thing you notice about the G35S is its torque. This car begs to be driven hard and fast and pulls at any speed during acceleration.. better get a radar detector
.. The redesigned interior is very nice. I've always liked G35s, but after having a Lexus I was not impressed with the interior. After seeing the interior overhaul in the 07 model, I completely into this car. Exterior, interior, driving, technology.. I can't find much wrong with this car, except its gas mileage..
but then again. i have a lead foot..
What I almost bought:
03'-06' CLK 320
07' IS350

Nice color and packaging choice!!
Coming from a Lexus, which has always done a great job with interior quality, choosing the G (over the IS350) is even more significant. I also looked briefly at the IS350... and as impressive as the quality of materials that Lexus uses, the size of the interior is just way too small.
Since you are coming over from Lexus, I am curious to your thoughts on two areas: ride noise and dealer quality?
And as others have said, welcome, and post some pictures!

I don't mind the gas mileage: It's winter here and my car has less than 200 miles on it as of this morning. (Gonna fix that soon.) Still, in stop and go suburban driving, it's getting about 16 mpg. I think that will improve as time goes by. Anyway, it I wanted the mpg's, I'd drive my wife's Prius.
