Long time Nissan fan/owner making the switch.
Hello everyone, my name is Lester. I reside in the bel air area of Maryland (45mins NE of baltimore). I'm an engineering technician that builds prototype parts for an engineering team using 3-D printing technology. Its a fun job and always interesting and the pay is great for someone my age.
I've been a long time nissan fan since I saw my first Datsun. I have my father to thank for my love of cars as he was always into cars and taught me to do most of my own vehicle maintenance. My first Nissan was a 1990 300ZX-TT (why not shoot for the top). It had most of the stage-3 bells and whistles and gave me the itch that we all love and hate. That car lasted for about two years before I had to sell it to scratch up some loot due to some unexpected moving plans of my own. I replaced it with an Audi A4 quattro which had its highs but mostly its lows and so I will never go back to an Audi again.
My second Nissan was a 1998 240SX SE which I immediately put some agx/eibachs on with nice wheels and a quiet exhaust. I recently sold that to a co-worker/friend in anticipation of buying another 240SX but that deal didnt work out so as of right now I am car-less.
I've been searching the eastcoast for the past two weeks trying to find my ideal G35. I first tried to chase down specific colors but that was difficult. So I decided that I at least had to have black leather, tan is not an option for me. It also of course has to have the 6spd with the brembos and ideally an 04...if it ends up with Navi then thats a plus.
I've actually had some ok luck locally in the DC/NOVA/MD/PA area with finding cars but have either been too late or dissappointed. I recently found another canidate after I decided to give up for the time being in PA. I plan to test drive it this weekend and hopefully take ownership of it shortly after.
I'm a big car fan of just about anything, I can and will be honest about my opinions but will always do my best to be nice about it. I feel I have a good grasp of the capabilites and the technologies of these cars, but Im always open to learn more.
Sorry for the long intro, but typing comes easy to me and Im a pretty open individual.
here are my last two nissans:
I hope to be adding to this page in the next few weeks with pictures of my new G35 coupe!!!!
