Make sure the front bumper Isn't loaded with rock chips, check for rust, make sure the seat does not rock during breaking or accelerating, and make sure the leather doesnt have tears. Thats what i checked for before negotiating a price on my G, GL!

I will definitely look for those things.. where do they usually rust like is there a common area? any sounds in the engine i should be concerned about or feeling in the transmission...? i test drove on the other day and the clutch pedal seems to be very heavy like hard to push down.. is this normal?

this is the one im looking at

As far as the rust, it tends to develop(at least from what ive seen) just above the windshield, i had some surface rust just between the top of the windshield and before the sunroof. Regarding the clutch, as long as its smooth and doesnt slip i wouldn't worry alot about it. That car looks nice, make sure he gets you service records! I can't tell from the pics but the paint looks sketchy, but that may be the bad picture.
