Considering buying a 03 G35... need help

Hello all,
I am considering buying a 2003 G35. It is a sedan with a 6speed. It looks damn clean and the test drive was great. They are asking for 10 gs for it. I am a little skeptical because it has 118k on it. I checked the carfax it can back good, and it only had ONE owner. I am not sure if 118k is a smart buy? How many miles can these G35's go for? Do you think it is a good buy?

I appreciate any and all responses. Thanx!!!

Honestly it just depends on how the previous owner took care of it. I work for an Infiniti dealership and I've seen 03-04 G35's with 100K to 150K+ miles on them that run perfectly smooth and I've seen 03's to even 06's with half the miles that ran like crap because the owner seemingly just didn't try and maintain it. But if the Carfax came back good then that's already a good sign. But I would try and talk down that price.

^ Agreed.

Use the mileage as to your advantage and try to get the price down as much as possible. Hopefully it all works out for the better trunysin. GL

BTW... see if you can't find out the maintenance reports in the owner manual to see if everything was done on time. Most guys don't give a fack and leave it all blank, but its worth a shot!

My car is about to hit 180k miles and you would believe its near 60. Maintaining what you own is essential.

Thanks guys.. I really appreciate the responses. I am going to check it out tomorrow for the second time and I will try to talk down the price and inspect it a little better. I will post how it goes.
