New owner from NC

Hello!

I've been lurking around the forums for a couple weeks now as I was looking for a new car and figured I would introduce myself. I'm Mike and I'm located over in the south east (Raleigh, NC).

After a couple months of scouring the south east for the perfect car for me I finally found an '07 G35 Coupe. It's Laser Red with a black leather interior and 6MT w/ 41k miles. Picked it up this past weekend and have already started buying mods! I had always planned on modding a car once I could finally afford it (I was a broke college student for quite a while haha) but didn't ever realize just how addictive it could be. Before even owning the car I had been doing tons of research and just loving what I was seeing.

So now 2 days after buying the G here's what I have so far: new springs, z-tube, JWT pop charger, mrev2, kinetix V+ plenum (had a local friend who hooked me up and is why I didn't just go spacer), HKS Hi Power exhaust, and MD ART pipes...and there is still so much more I want to do. It just seems like every time I come here I leave wanting something else. Anyways, figured I'll be hanging around the forums quite a bit so might as well introduce myself.

-Mike

Haha yeah, it's crazy how quickly it got me...it doesn't help that one of the guys I live with owns a Z and is into modding so I've been closely following along the VQ modding for a year now. I'll try to post pics soon but one warning, the wheels are not pretty (in my opinion anyways). The previous owner literally put on Dubs. So as it sits now I'm rolling on 20" chrome dubs haha. Just means FI gets pushed back a bit and wheels get moved up my list of priorities.

lol based on how badly i see you have the mod bug i don't see those wheels staying on for long then. any ideas what u want. pretty easy to find oem 19" rays around the south lately for a quick fix

Ideally it would be something like 19" Volk Time Attack TE37's. Right now I just blew my entire budget on what I have coming though so wheels are waiting for the next go around. Although the idea of just picking up some oem 19" Rays for the mean time is a definite possibility.
