I agree with you completely! I've owned my car for two months now and the first thing I did was de-badge my trunk. It looks 100x better.

The Advan wheels look awful on this car.

If there is no such thing as a infiniti in japan why not convert it back to its original badges.

eh, i've thought about it, but technically speaking it's not a skyline and never will be, so i will leave it as is. and iirc they do sell the infiniti brand in japan? someone correct me if i'm wrong.

Umm your wrong. I go to japan cause my wife is japanese and we visit her parents every 6 months. Umm 350gt has the same engine same everything just a nissan not infiniti emblems. Its a skyline and saying its not is stupid. I know someone has skyline 350gt and evrything is the same. I had to explain to her parents what infiniti was cause THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS INFINITI IN JAPAN, there is no acura, there is no scion.

whoa calm down.. i stand corrected, they don't sell the infiniti brand there. yes it's the same chassis, yes it's the same engine, it IS basically the same exact car. but, the g35 is left hand drive and has a US vin, therefore technically it's not and never will be a skyline. anyways i'm not going to argue over this, it's a discussion for this thread...

[QUOTE=m tr4nch;6166574, good luck with your new ride..the ride as you say is smooth and COMPLIANT. gas mileage is excellent(I get 27.2 on trips and it luvs Sunoco 91, these cars are made to last. The sunroof is noisy over 60mph but nice riding around in suburbs. enjoy.

been a while so i figured i'd update this thread with some recent pics.

went down to the tail of the dragon meet labor day weekend with the nico peeps. drove there with my buddy in his s14, and his buddy in an is250. got some awesome shots from the photographers there.

that trip put 1700 miles on my car but it was so worth it. had an amazing time! i would definitely recommend everyone make the trip there at least once in their life.
so yeah, hit 35k about a week ago.

finally got some oem clear corners and replaced the cheap ebay smoked ones that were on the car when i got it. main thing that bothered me about them was the moisture inside, even after i sealed them up.

you can still see the moisture in one of them up top-

excuse the dirtiness...

was thinking of lightly tinting them with some vinyl but i think they look good as is. i could always do it and if i don't like them just pull the vinyl off. we'll see..

Love the color and good find on the low miles. Personally it your car you can do whatever you want but if that was my G, I would have changed the rims by now.

finally! someone other than me on here who likes them.

i assure you all, they look way better on the car in person. cameras can't really capture the depth of them and they look like crap in pictures.

So this is how I bought it. Previous owner was in a small wreck so they replaced the original bumper with an 04 one, which I plan on changing soon, the rims are 20' but I also plan on getting rid of these and doing the oem 18' and then looking for aftermarket 19' with tein springs..
