proud new G owner! :D (pics!) & progress thread
So this is how I bought it. Previous owner was in a small wreck so they replaced the original bumper with an 04 one, which I plan on changing soon, the rims are 20' but I also plan on getting rid of these and doing the oem 18' and then looking for aftermarket 19' with tein springs..
changed the trans and diff fluid yesterday. pretty straightforward.. honestly i can't tell a huge difference. i used nissan MTF in the trans, and it does feel a little smoother going into reverse and first/second but not a big difference at all, which i guess is good since it probably means the 2 previous owners didn't drive it hard.
just thought i'd make a little update

been a while, just took the G out of hibernation a couple of weeks ago. haven't driven it since the beginning of january due to salt being thrown on the roads for any kind of precipitation around here
hit 36k about a week ago (~500 miles driven since nov. heh)

installed a nismo radiator cap and oil cap..

also had a chance to finally use the tuf shine tire clearcoat kit that i bought a few months back. this stuff is fcking awesome!
i did the inner sidewalls first, strictly for protection purposes so they don't end up dry rotting on me. yes i laid the wheels down face first, no they aren't scratched, the edge of the tire is actually all that's touching the ground. i made sure of this before i did it.
first scrub with the cleaner-

after 6 times-

cleaned and dried-

3 coats of clearcoat-

did the outer sidewalls after, same process just weren't as dirty.
all done-

i'll report back on how this holds up over time. so far it's been great and looks amazing.

i guess you failed to read this...
they also sell just the cleaner in different sizes (which i need more of now) - http://www.detailedimage.com/TUF-SHI...P549/22-oz-S1/
Nice car! Crazy low mileage for an 04, looks to be in great shape.
And I hate to beat a dead horse, but those wheels... In my opinion are possibly the ugliest things I have ever seen. But hey, different people have different tastes!
Nice car man

thanks man! hahah yeah i'm used to people hating on the wheels. i actually used to think they were ugly at one point too, but they've definitely grown on me, i think they are awesome.
yesss another person! haha.
just replaced the in-cabin filter since i have no idea when the last time it was replaced. i followed the diy video on infinitihelp.com and it was super easy to do.
new vs. old-
