small update..

decided to get some 2500k (yellow) fog/high bulbs and replaced the regular 194 bulbs for the city lights and side markers with some led bulbs to match the low beams a little better.


been looking like this since i bought the car-



2500k fogs and the original led bulbs i got-



i didn't like the bluish tint to the led's so i got some different ones with a lower kelvin temp rating-




much better! and a truer white light. it's pretty hard to take pictures of headlights/lighting and capture the correct color/brightness of them.




anyways, i'm happy with the result. i also threw led bulbs in the rear license plate lamps and replaced the trunk light as well.

 

looks nice man...matches the main lights almost perfectly

tiny update.. bought a pair of carbign craft convex mirrors and threw them on. major difference! but takes a little while of getting used to.





also probably not driving the G anytime soon since salt hit the roads the other day finally so it'll be in hibernation for a while. hit 43k the other day too.

 

Those are pretty sweet! Did you upgrade mirrors as well (ie..carbon fiber) or just lenses? Sad to hear about the salt and hibernation but you know your G appreciates it.

 

i just did the mirror glass. i thought about doing the carbon fiber covers too but i don't think it will look right on my car, plus i don't have any other cf pieces and don't really plan on getting any.
yeahh the salt sucks and i'm gonna miss driving it for a while but you're definitely right!

 

Where did you get the convex mirrors and how are they when checking traffic.
