hello G world
Hi everyone!
I'm Katie, and I just bought my FIRST G35. She is absolutely incredible [:
Her name is Scarlett.
She's a 2004 G35 Coupe in Laser Red..
I am blacking out the chrome & hoping to either black out her current rims or purchase nicer blacked out rims.. any other mod suggestions?

Welcome to the forums. Should lower it also, and I would just buy aftermarket wheels if you can afford it, would look much better than painted stock wheels IMO. Other suggestions: 06 projectors Clear Corners, body kit for starters. If you want more fast I would suggest a motordyne spacer and a quality exhaust system. And of course the ever important fuzzy dice to hang from the mirror.
Also I second the motion for pics

A few things you should go over in that previous link, what does the mileage currently come out to be? It is important to always get up to par = before you spend money on the fluff stuff. This is called a tune up. Do you have any maintenance records?

Thank you so much for the advice (:
She has 80k miles &I am planning on a tune up.
No accidents from the previous owners.. She really is beautiful (:
I'm thinking about blacked out rims with red on the lip.. And adding a spoiler as well.
She is used, so I want to make her my own.
Blacking out the chrome has begun, and I will be posting pictures ASAP

Congrats on the new car! Hope the g treats you well. If you are interested in getting a spoiler (assuming yours is currently wingless), I would say take off your wingless trunk and either keep it or trade/sell it for a spoiler one. Wingless is highly desirable on our forums and you can easily trade for the same color trunk with the spoiler and cash (from them) for your wingless trunk.

Post a few pic, we love seeing new members rides.
Welcome to Driver, Katie! Congratulations on finding an "Absolutely Incredible" (your words) LR Coupe! Blacking out chrome Katie, which chrome? All the emblems/letters on the deck lid can be removed for a super clean look. (search debadge) If you intend to do the black grille thing, a nicer look is IONICs embless grille sold on our Marketplace under vendor exterior. With your LR coupe those orange side lights can be replaced with clears which look way better than factory. (install time 2 minutes of less) Again Welcome and enjoy the ride....Gary

She's an Automatic [:
I DEFINITELY want to get a spoiler. My G has the 'clean' look.. but I prefer the more sporty look.
Not gonna plastidip the rims.. I know you can just peel it off, but I'd rather trade/buy the rims I want vs doing it the easy way.
GooGone has been my best friend while removing the emblems. She is de-badged right now but will have an AWESOME black emblem next weekend.
Im also looking to open up the air intake... any suggestions on where to find the best part/prices?
Thank you so much for the help!!

Wijibo you just got me way too interested in this spoilier...
Advice, read the thread I linked above, because you would learn air intakes installed on this car only decrease the power output. They add more noise, so if you are about that rice factor then... hell yeah.
If you want to "black out" your tail lights yourself there is a member here named bluebatmobile who makes tint that only covers the non-illuminating part of the taillight. This keeps you a little more legal and gives you those eyes in the tail light.
