Returning to the G35

I sold my last black on black 6MT coupe and starting missing her badly. I searched and searched over the last few months for the right car at the right deal and stumbled across an 03 6MT Pearl White coupe in Norfolk with 83K miles. It needs a couple of things, but it was $6K OBO and we struck a cash deal for less The seller was a really cool guy. It is so much better buying cars from individuals than dealing with dealerships!

Good things: the car spent 99% of it's life in San Diego. No rust, looks like new underneath. Runs and drives great, like a new car. Clean title and carfax. Wheat interior needs cleaning, but no rips or tears. Brand new tires, pads and rotors. Car has Brembos. The car is stock, except the muffler was cut off and it is running some oddly angled tips straight out which is a great transition to:

The bad: IT IS LOUD Driving the 3 hours back to NOVA, the exhaust was tiring. It may need a new front bumper cover as someone backed into it with a trailer hitch. Two of the stock wheels have some curb rash (low priority right now.) Needs PDR on the roof, it looks like something heavy fell on the roof dead center behind the sunroof and put a fist sized dent in the roof.

Anyhow, now I need to find a new exhaust for this thing and a Satellite radio module and antenna. I have new splash guards already on order. Full interior detail starting next week then off to PDR and perhaps they can fix the cracked bumper cover while they are at it.

Find a good body shop for dent removal (suction cup method) and I bet they can pull that dent out of the roof. Congrats on the new ride

Thank you!

Yeah I found a place a mile from my house with tons of 5 star reviews and before/after photos showing damage a lot worse than mine. I am hopeful. The car is very nice otherwise.

I'll get some photos up soon.

Yeah the first time I saw a high end dent removal work his magic I thought it was a bullshit truck of the light or other mind****ery because there was no way it could turn out so perfect.

I've seen it many times now though and it's absolutely legit, there a guy that comes through this area once a year that is by appointment only and does all the high end cars and he is an artist at dent removal.
