Car won’t start

I started my car yesterday than out of no where it died. Tried to start again and it just cranks now. I changed MAF sensor and problem still remains. When I start cranking it gas fumes come out of exhaust. I will try to use starter fluid to check fuel pump, but does anyone know what problems it could be ??

Does the tach move when cranking? If not then your crank sensor probably died.

What were the results of an OBD2 scan?

These are the codes I got. I presume the camshaft sensor it says but i try and test your theory and see.

Ignore all that stuff at the bottom of the app, focus on the codes that YOUR VEHICLE is throwing not "what's wrong with most of them on the internet" which is what that bottom section is about.

The IAT and MAF are all a single unit, unplug it and check for bent pins, plug it back in, wipe codes, see if they come back. Did you use a NEW MAF or is it a used one? Try plugging the old MAF back in to see if the codes can be cleared if the new one won't. It's possible you bought a defective MAF.

C1130 is a code that pops up anytime the ABS system is disabled, in this case there is a major engine malfunction so the ABS system will not initialize until it's fixed. Ignore this code for now.

Also, the ECM will not open injectors or fire spark when a major system like the MAF is compromised and not sending data. Focus on getting the MAF/IAT problem fixed and the engine will PROBABLY start right up.

I was able to clear codes and tried to start but only cranked. When I rescanned it I got this. I saw fuel pump code so I sprayed starter fluid and it started up than stalled. I did this 2 times same outcome. I checked voltages on the IAC and came with 12v. I check crankshaft sensor and got 1.23 ome’s.

Looks like you might have lost the fuel pump, order the sandwich adapter from Z1 Motorsports so you can test for fuel pressure. These vehicles do not have a fuel service port so you need to add one.

I'd still swap out the MAF first if you have the old one to see if the IAT code will clear.

Also, disconnect your battery and thoroughly clean all the lugs and contact points to make sure it's not just a loose battery connection causing all this.

For the time being, if I unplug that line should it squirt out fuel to see if pressure is built up ?

I definitely wouldn't recommend that, also it's practically impossible to tell the difference between 30psi and the required 50psi just by watching gas squirt out. You need to put a gauge on it so you can make sure it's 50psi.

Are you sure you have gas in the tank? My gauge cluster is jacked up and I occasionally get that P0183 error code. Other than that start with the starting fluid or try unplugging the MAF it should still start with the MAF unplugged, but will run like poo.

I had a bunch of the same codes that he listed when my camshaft position sensor Bank 1 (passenger side) was bad. Had to purchase a Hitachi sensor per the recommendation from the person who first replied to your original post. I had replaced multiple times with third party ones from Amazon. Before I put the Hitachi sensor on I clean my MAF with MAF cleaner and I also clean my throttlebody with throttle body cleaner. Even with the bad sensor on my car, doing these two things stopped my car from stalling out.

I ended up clearing the codes. Plugged my old maf sensor in than scanned. These were the codes that came up. I tried to start the car but didn’t turn over only cranks. Scanned the codes agin and same ones came up from the photo. I ended up trying starter fluid to see if it was the fuel pump. Started the car than it died.
