P0300, P0021, & Stalling out
P0300, P0021, & Stalling out
I just replaced both valve covers, injectors, gaskets, all new spark plugs, and new coil packs. There was no code on the car for a few days until I noticed the camshaft sensor pigtail housing on bank 2 was cracked and loose. This caused my car to stall out and service light on, so I changed the sensor and rewired a new pigtail. Now the car starts fine on a cold start but idles at around 600 to 650 rpm. Once the engine is warm, the car will start but then stall out unless I rev the engine a couple times which will keep it from stalling (still idles at around 600-650 rpm). I took the car to Autozone to check the codes and I get a p0300 and p0021. I am not sure what to do at this point…. Please any advice would be helpful
Did you pinch the oil fill neck between the plenum halves? Are you sure the cam advance solenoids were plugged in correctly? No bent pins?
Are you sure you didn't get the coil pack harnesses mixed up, it's really easy to do.

The sensor was connected correctly, I just checked recently. And I am not sure what the oil fill neck is.. I can check that out. Thank you
