I had previously posted about 6 months ago about my car getting 4 codes and not being able to start. Turns out 3/4 of those codes were related to faulty cam sensors that as soon as i replaced, fixed my issue and codes turned off. The code i still have and have had since i bought this thing is p1446 feels like the code of death. It refers to a evap vent control valve which i have since replaced and still have the same issue. When filling up the gas tanks clicks at half full and doesn't like having anymore gas put into it. I've tried releasing pressure in the system, and even cleaning the whole system with q tips which was recommended from a previous thread titled "Gas Gauge WEIRDNESS" . When i first started having this problem about 8 months ago i just went and bought a new fuel pump which was a pricey expense. Replaced it myself and it works great but it never fixed my problem and i still have this stupid CEL. Apparently this issue has been happening since 2007 from previous threads and there was some recalls i've heard about but don't know how true it is. Would love some help.... Really don't wanna have to rip apart the entire evap system. 😬

 

No clue man. Sounds like you are on the right path. You have qtip cleaner then vents / drain near the filler or which lines so far?
