New G35 Coupe Owner!

After months of research and looking at all kinds of cars, I had it narrowed down to either BMW (E46 3 series or E39 5 series) or the G35. For a few thousand more than a 2-4 year old used Bimmer, it was a NO BRAINER.

I am now the proud owner of a brand new 2005 G35C. It's bright metallic silver w/ stone interior, Premium and Sport Package, and NAV. Stickered at $39,400. Invoice was $36K. I paid $35K plus TTT on Friday 9/30. The local Bay Area dealers were pretty aggressive on the G35s, I think for once my timing is perfect.

Here's a pic of it parked in the garage next to my '94 Mustang Cobra.

Those forged 19s are really sweet!

I'm a DIY kind of guy, so I look forward to learning more about the care and feeding of the G35C. I'm not going to do many mods to this car, it's my daily driver and I have a highly modified Mustang (~300rwhp) set up for open tracking to play with.

Regards,

Pleasanton Infiniti in East Bay....I had to work 'em a bit, but @ $1K off list price I'm going to sleep well tonight. Car was $38,232 out the door w/ almost $3K in sales tax!

I think it's a good deal for a brand new car!
