We waited for ya but you didn't appear after 15 mins.... The 4th picture is the road that we commandeered as we waited. Next time drive faster!!!
Here are some pics from the run. The weather held out great on our way to Stratton Mtn, VT. It did rain on the way home a bit. But it was a great time and no one was left bloody in a raveen or at the bottom of a cliff! YAY!
Sorry guys, that was me holding up the guys, those tires I had on the pathfinder has to go.........and drop it a few feet ....

Thanks guys, couldn't keep up on those windy stretches with the pathfinder, got lost and Ann saw some shopping outlets....that was the end for me.... we kept going East on Rte 9 and almosted ended up in Boston

I enjoyed meeting you guys hope we can meet more often once my engine is completed. Had a good time; eventhough we couldn't keep up.

Next time we'll be more prepared

Thanks to Speedracer, Zmazing03, Mike_G for organizing the cruise and to everyone who made the meet super fun.

Thanks
G

PS: I have posted some pics at the club site, and for the poor fellas who got stuck behind, I have some pics for you

Hey G, Ann drove the wheels off that pathfinder, It was nice to meet ya both..... I was cracking up watching you shoot pics out the Back of It ... so much so I wasnt paying attention when we passed Rte 112. Its all good I doubled back caught 112 followed that up to 91 to Vt met up 20 mins after the crew arrived.

Haha. Was definately awesome. The first time we went it was great with 3-4 people and the pace was FAST. This time we really kept up the pace even with 17-18 cars. And damn, am I the only one who was absolutely exhausted? Not because I got up early, but because of roughly 3+ hrs of driving 70 mph or more, on curvy, elevation changing roads.

Next time we do this will be in the Spring. We had 18 this time so without the thread of rain and the third running, I think we will have upwards of 30 Z/G.

Great time. For all of you who didn't got and were on the list -- shame on you! It was ENTIRELY worth it (and gas is cheap in VT ).

I was totally exhausted on the drive home, and barely made it out of bed this morning. Last night I was lying in bed thinking about the roads - I felt like I was still moving in my car even though I was lying in my bed. haha. It did wear me out though...focusing so intensely on those roads and braking, down shifting, manuevering...man, usually when I drive I just cruise and it's relaxing...this was a totally different type of experience for me - all 5 senses were at work there for me, so much so that I found music was distracting, so I shut it off. I was driving fast but you guys were driving faster. In the mountains of Vermont, going DOWNHILL on a wet mountain road, taking a sharp turn with little or no shoulder...speed limit said 35 mph (for dry conditions) and you guys were going at least 55 or 60 mph...damn...lol I don't have the confidence or experience to handle that. I always caught up in the straightaways though - I felt like I was racing to keep up - but it helped me explore the car a bit more (which is still just 4 months old). Had a great time, but next time I hope the roads are dry, and I'll have new tires...

I'm making this sound like it was a dangerous experience...but I never once lost control or slid or drifted even one bit. I drove within the limits of my ability and comfort level...well, within my ability...my comfort level got stretched a lil bit. LOL

I tell you all you clowns that didn't show up missed a good one. Yeah i think i pushed my car pretty hard on that day. not just the run but when we got back to boston myself and GRyder met up with hi tek G and Brokeballin at the car wash in Neponset. and had a wild dash from there to showcase cinemas in Revere. That's another story for another day. But yeah I think I will be doin a whole new suspention project. I fell back on a few turns up there. I am a little mroe top heavy than the coupes. but i held it down. I hope i'm in the states next year when you guys do it again

big ups for puttin this together. too bad the top had to come up. I know the wind was feelin good before the rain. I was still amped up after the run I had to let it out on rt 1 north in revere, ma lol belive it or not the whole evolution from my house in RI to the friendly's in westfield, ma to VT to the car wash in boston took about 380 miles and only 1 whole tank of gas. yay for that. I'll be in theater next spring when part 3 goes down but hopefully when i come hope for leave in the fall of next year you guys can put part 4 together. I should have my stage 2 and suspention overhauled by then.

+1 those that know me and have drivin with me in the city know i don't give a damn. I drive! but yeah I toned down a little bit on teh run. I was stayin at about 70 most of the way but i felt that g force kickin in on those turns. Tryin to stay with the pack. I didn't wanna know how good or bad my tired where. especially with no signal on they celly to call AAA. I don't think those sweet Z's would have been able to get me out of a ditch! lol None the less this was a great time
