I'm posting this to see if people would be interested in a full Northeast meet in Englishtown, NJ sometime in spring. The location could be changed. The only reason that I had thought of Englishtown is because of the availability of a track. If a lot of people are interested, then a few of us could get the wheels rolling on it. We could try and get couple of sponsors and either make it a one day thing or a weekend meet.

Hell yea! Im in, great place to do it, if its enough peepz we can rent the track for a day, that would rule! english town is awesome!

The track time is open for those who want to test their cars out in the 1/4 mile or against each other. This is definitely not mandatory but I figured if we're going to host it at englishtown that it would be good to have. Also, anyone who is interested please post in the reply the town that you're from, if englishtown, nj is fine with you, what month in spring you'll be interested in attending and also if you are willing to take an active role in organizing this event. I'm cool for E-Town, but I race in the SCCA so our season gets started in late April. I'd say let's shoot for early April.

Although I don't think I'll participate in the racing part (The wife factor), I'll be more than happy to show up and just hang out with everybody.

Im down either atco or etown. If I had to vote it would be for atco since its slightly more centralized.

 

Thanks for all the replies and I think that April and holding it Atco Raceway might be the best since jdking has a contact over at Atco. Anyone interested in helping put this meet together would be great. Hopefully more people from the northeast would participate or reply to this posts.
