Oil consumption TSB at Infiniti of Ardmore, PA

I called to schedule an appointment to get the consumption test done (I got a postcard with a free oil change coupon, have to take advantage of that!). The guy in service I talked to, Charlie, said it's normal for our cars to burn oil and he had no idea the TSB existed. Going this Friday, will let you all know what happens.

Agreed. They didn't know about the TSB and I offered to bring it in. They said don't worry. When I got there last week they only knew about the 1qt per 1000mi test, not the actual TSB. Good thing I had the TSB printed out and they started it for me. It was a snow day so nobody was really there and the service managers were just hanging out and having a good time. They were actually pretty chill and the mechanic seemed to be very well versed in Infinitis. Overall I was pretty happy with my visit, we'll see what happens going forward when the actual measurements start.

The service department at Ardmore is very helpful. I just bought my new G from there a few weeks ago and haven't had any problems with them. They changed my oil at 1250 and had no issues with any of the intake mods I've done already and said that anything I changed would not void the warranty unless the changed part was the direct cause of the issue.

I have always gone to Ardmore, car is there now and have a loaner, and they are great (at least my experiences with them). Brad Sweet (x221) is the one I deal with a lot, but I know Al, Charlie and Kevin as well. Kevin is the service manager and is really nice. If I ever had a "problem/concern", I told them and they had no problem taking care of it and/or giving me a credit.

haha...I was at ardmore today aswell.

I had my first run-in with a tech that impressed me. I don’t know his name, but he has an accent and all the reps know he is awesome.

I dropped my G off at 7:45am (way too early) but had to get to work. Picking it up tomorrow early eve before they close. If you ever see me, say hi. I have had people come up and ask me (like at the car show) if I am KG (koreangrl) on driver. LOL It is too funny.
