Boston Hotels

I am driving down to Boston with a couple of buddies in a few weeks to see a concert at the House of Blues. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel that is within walking distance of the House of Blues? Also, any recommendations on some good bars/pubs would also be appreciated.

Thanks,

Shane

Shane's coming to Bean Town!

Depends on your definition of "decent"
This may help...

Scott, I am driving down on May 7th and will be there for 3 days. That would of been awesome if the dates would of matched up with your G meet.

The Hilton Boston Back Bay looks close, as long as you don't have to walk on highway 90.

Stayed at Pahkeh (Parker) House once, had some clam chowdah and a Sam Adams. (srsly).

No idea if it's close to HoB, I just wanted to post that.

The sox are playing the Indians on the 7th.
Anyone visiting Boston has to hit Fenway... and you're going to be right across the street anyway.

Foundation Lounge in the hotel commonwealth is good. Trendy sort of place, but I ALWAYS have a great time there.

Also, Hotel Buckminster is right next to the house of blues, and it's usually pretty cheap.

Thanks for all of the info gents. I'll be looking into the Hotel Buckminster since it's so close to the HOB. Also, the Boston Beer Works definitely sounds like my kind of place!!!!!

Btw, I'm meeting Brian (AthensBlueG) probably on Friday, May 8th.........if anyone else wants to join for beers you are welcome to.
