I know PA has the annual safety inspection and a mechanic friend of mine will be taking care of that.

is there anything else I should need to know or be made aware of?

I will commuting daily from Dallastown to Hunt Valley, MD.

can I go with resonated test pipes now that I no longer need to do emissions test? my G is not a daily driver, but is driven often enough.

To your original question -- you still have to run an emissions test. They're mandatory in PA, just like the safety inspection, and are done annually.

Unless you want to try to go exempt, but that's a major PITA to accomplish.

You can still pass with a modified exhaust -- I never had a problem with the exhaust on my old car, which only had a single hi-flow cat -- but you can't push it too far.

You gonna be traveling on Route 30 to commute? I hate that road.

my car spends more time in the garage than on the road. she is getting a new 06-07 OEM sport front faschia and front and rear splash guards soon and will be in body shop for a few days.
