Hey man, not bad, yourself? Though no longer an Infiniti owner. Sold the G privately last week, surprisingly with all of the mods to a 55 yr. + old guy from Taunton!

Muffler and coupe shocks are the only ones that might be sold, will know by this weekend. I added a few more items above as well. Amazing how quickly parts piled up.

That's correct. I wanted to keep it 2 more years as I know I would have been able to rack up more miles on it with no issues, but the mileage and gas prices were killing me.

Can't believe I did this, but I'm actually now in a Lexus CT 200h (hybrid), I've only had it for 1 week now. Maybe I'm getting old..... Very neat car, awesome technology and I don't regret it one bit. I'll easily be saving $2000/year on gas. They're very popular now, dealers can't keep them on the lot and wait times are anywhere from 3-6 months now (I had to wait 2 months for mine).

Can't go wrong with a Lexus. I think my next car is gonna be a Lex also. Leaning towards an IS or GS series.

No, there are no deals on these cars. MSRP baby.... They just hit the dealer lots in March and they're so popular, most dealers have 30+ people on wait lists and some dealers aren't even taking orders any more. There's not a ton of profit on these cars as it is, I want to say invoice is $2k less than MSRP. I added premium sound and some other add-ons and the CT is still cheaper than what I paid for my '04 G sedan 7 years ago.

I'm told that if you drive the CT like you stole it, the worst a member has gotten was like 39 MPG. Crazy....

How much did you get for your G sedan. I was at an Infiniti dealer last week, the sales manager said he'll give me only $8000 for mine. It's only has a little over 62,000 miles. Clean title. That's pretty low don't you think?

Yes sir, it is. I've never sold a car by myself before. When I was in the market for the CT, knowing they're all selling for MSRP, it didn't really matter what dealer you went to, so I told a local dealer I'll end up buying my CT from whoever gives me the best trade-in value. That said, I asked him to give me his best offer. Mind you, my car had just been fully detailed (by me) and looked pretty damn good!

My car at the time had 154K miles on it, and he only offered me $6k for it, which was an insult. I had it listed for $9,750 but then ended up selling it for $8,500, which is still a great deal for the buyer given the mods on the car & the life left in the car. I don't know if I'll ever trade a car in again.
