That's correct. I wanted to keep it 2 more years as I know I would have been able to rack up more miles on it with no issues, but the mileage and gas prices were killing me.
Can't believe I did this, but I'm actually now in a Lexus CT 200h (hybrid), I've only had it for 1 week now. Maybe I'm getting old..... Very neat car, awesome technology and I don't regret it one bit. I'll easily be saving $2000/year on gas. They're very popular now, dealers can't keep them on the lot and wait times are anywhere from 3-6 months now (I had to wait 2 months for mine).

No, there are no deals on these cars. MSRP baby.... They just hit the dealer lots in March and they're so popular, most dealers have 30+ people on wait lists and some dealers aren't even taking orders any more. There's not a ton of profit on these cars as it is, I want to say invoice is $2k less than MSRP. I added premium sound and some other add-ons and the CT is still cheaper than what I paid for my '04 G sedan 7 years ago.
I'm told that if you drive the CT like you stole it, the worst a member has gotten was like 39 MPG. Crazy....

My car at the time had 154K miles on it, and he only offered me $6k for it, which was an insult. I had it listed for $9,750 but then ended up selling it for $8,500, which is still a great deal for the buyer given the mods on the car & the life left in the car. I don't know if I'll ever trade a car in again.
