Sup ya, was wondering if ya wanna do a Philly G meet or something on a Sunday a week or 2 from now... Havnt seen my car for almost 2 full months now cuz of the damn snow (sitting in a auto repair shop)... Just wanna drive my G around and meet other G drivers and see their Rides. hit me back

Count me in too...went to my first meet last weekend (courtesy of boooz) and had a blast. Def. down for any local meet, sunday is a good day.

I'd be up for it. The last one at KOP mall was tons of fun. it was great getting to meet some of the members. Got some good pics too. Hopefully we could get some more Gs to come out so we can get even better pics.

 

Im def in too...ive got some new parts shipping as we speak so hopefully theyll be on in time for a cruise! Plus, after the last meet (KOP) im excited to meet some other G-drivers...seems like everyone ive met so far is cool as s.hit...prally becasue we all gots good taste in cars! heh heh

Sounds good, but KOP is def not center city...????....im fine either way, but lets make it clear where were gonna do this...

Some things to think about -

Last week at KOP, a mall-security ***** told us that there was no loitering, meeting, standing around, blah blah in the parking lots. Id hate to see us all gather up and get "chased" away by some slap-d.ick in a Jeep Liberty!

Also, center city is cool, but a big open space for us to park, chill, take pics, etc etc is going to be hard to come by...

As for time, say 12:00pm (noon) to whenever...?

hey guys, i'm late to the thread but just picked up my G on saturday. buggin to meet some philly area drivers also. i agree that KoP might be easier than center city...another suggestion- what do you think about manayunk. nice like center city but a bit more open. there are a few parking lots where we shouldnt be bothered, plus its halfway inbetween kofp and center city. i used to live in manayunk, plenty of eats and drinks there.

 

there's this place call "Brunswick zone"- pool hall/ bar/ bowling ally by Route 1 (roosevelt blv) and Street road. pretty Easy to get to from 95 or route1.
Just a thought.

 

Id be down with Manyunk...Maybe the city G's can't meet here and cruise out to Manyunk...

Asztak - You'd have to find us some nice lots, I'm not familiar with the area...KOP mall is good but if you guys listen to what Jon's been saying they had some trouble there last weekend...Security was being a pain in the aszzz...We have 2 weeks to set this up so any other ideas are welcomed...

 

there are 2 lots that i know of that might work...just dont know how crowded they get, but should be alright in the afternoon. if you are familiar with the area- as you go down main street from green lane there is a parking lot behind the buildings on your right a little after style of man, and another fairly big lot by the brew pub...if not a little further down there is a big lot by the movie theater and manayunk diner-usually fairly open.
