Competition Infiniti Sales People-Know Any?

A good friend lives in the Pt. Jefferson area and is looking for a new car. He is more interested in the M than the G because of family, the type of car he wants, etc. He needs the car soon as his present car may be beyond resuscitation.

He hates shopping for cars. He hates every aspect. He doesn't want a sales person to push him, try to sell him something he doesn't want, breathe down his neck, etc (gee, he sounds like the rest of us).

He thinks he might like the M, but needs to sit in it, drive it, etc. The closest Infiniti dealer is Competition. Does any one have a sales person they can recommend so that he has a good buying experience there? You can post or PM if you wish. If he doesn't like your salesperson, don't take it personally!

Thanks for your help.

You can try mine. He's an awesome guy who wasn't pushy, but yet easy to work with. He's here in West Chester, PA though. But you can give him a call and see what kind of deal he can get. Don't know if there's a waitlist for the M, but worth calling to see anyway. He was recommended by another G35driver member. I paid just a little over invoice for my car. One thing I like about him was that he knows a good deal about cars and modifying them. And he's very truthful about what the G can do and what it can't. Tell him you were refered by Lynn. Maybe he will give you a better discount.

Thanks, I'll tell him. He probably doesn't want to go to West Chester, though he might as he has relatives there.

i got my 2005 coupe at competition infiniti back in december. I worked with 3 different salesmen there. One who was real cool is no longer there though. The second (Vinny T.) was real nice and accomodating also. The third one is one of the sales managers i think, his name was Chris. He's real aggressive and the high pressure type that people dont normally like. However, because of his position I think he has the most flexibility with the price. So basically, in the end i got the best deal working with him once I pretty much told him I was fed up and almost left the place. Let me know if can help any further

I bought my car at competition in smithtown as well. The salesman I had was this older guy named Wayne. Pretty straightforward kind of guy. Threw him a figure, he came back with a counteroffer, $250 more then mine, so bought the car. Nice enough guy and straight to the point.

If you plan on getting financing through infiniti, might have to haggle for a better interest rate though. Dealt with some female (forgot her name), she have me an interest rate which was about 5.6%. I told her I would think about it and later recieved a call that I could buy at a rate of 4.6%.

Good luck.

Chris is good, i bought mine used from Eric but dealt mostly with chris because i didnt like eric and chris had more pull. best advice is go to the dealership two days before the end of the month. They want the car off the lot so they dont have to pay for it for the whole month, they'll pressure you into taking it home that day, you'll get the price you want, and then say you still have till tomoro to think about it. thats what i did for my 03 coupe. Chris did the whole 'write down a price on a piece of paper and slide it across the table' scheme. i wrote what it was worth from blackbook and he later matched that price, i didnt budge but he did....
