BMW Tuners in NY/NJ area?

LOL! My friend is tired of getting spanked around by me. The straw that broke the camel's back is when my coworker brought out his Viper and his bimmer couldn't keep up with us after a quick sprint exiting a toll plaza.

Not looking for a rinky dink shop that does intakes and exhausts, but a place that has a lot of experience with superchargers and ECU tuning.

Take a look at the Dinan website.
I know they have a few installer(Dealers?) in the NJ location.
If they can't help your friend i don't know who can

Actually from what I read on the forums, BMW owners don't prefer to go with Dinan parts due to overstatments of performance as well as super high costs. I'd probably tell your buddy to hop on over to something like e46psi.com or something.

And if you're willing to drive all the way to Hunterdon Co., there's Vicari Motorsports. The owner, Steve, used to race BMWs and now runs a tuner shop. He does excellent work.

Talk to ILLG35 who pops on here from time to time. He had his M3 turned into a REDUNKYALESS machine! Activeworks supercharger, CF roof, Aquamist, etc etc by RPM racing in Huntington on LI. They recently switched names I believe to THX racing or something. They tune all high high end cars from Beemers to Lambo's and everything in between. I think Marty swears by em!
