I've been considering taking apart the rear of my 05 Sedan w/ reclining seats to inspect for rattles. Is anyone familiar with removing the seats and rear parcel shelf?

DIY events are going on all the time

Ok guys, I need some help this time around. Now I am probably fully capable of taking apart the dash on my 05 Sedan but I am afraid of breaking anything. I bought the Double Din Dash kit from Grubbs and I took apart the new AC controller they sent me. I'd like to swap the LED & resistor from the old AC board to the new AC board to get the Dual button working. If you guys have done this before and wouldn't mind giving me some guidance in person + apply your soldering skills please PM me or just reply to this thread.

I'm having some noise issues with my g coupe. when going > 80mph the passenger door window would produce loud wind noise. and the rearview mirror would rattle at times.

anyone know how to fix those? my G is used and no longer covered by warranty.

Oh yeah If anyone has a ding removal kit laying around would mind me trying it out let me know

I'm located in SF South Bay. any free help deserves a free lunch

oran9e, if its a coupe, the wind noise is most likely that the window motor needs to be reset/window aligned properly. Rearview mirror rattles is common and is usually the little trim piece that covers the wire between the headliner and mirror. Remove it and see if you have the rattles still.

Air cabin filter I could do for you in about 5 minutes. AT fluid is a bit tougher to flush so if you can't find anyone, I could recommend a shop I had do mine..cost me 100 for labor and I bought the ATF online for about 90 for a case (1/2 of dealer cost). I'm located in SF so if you wanted to stop by, I'll show you how to do the cabin filter.

I am currently in the process of making final arrangements for my own garage to work on cars (I'll have to pay rent however)

It's a small garage in a home in Sunnyvale. I'm attaching some pics. All the mess is going to get cleaned up and there'll be plenty of room.

Just letting you guys know there's a place now so let me know if ya'll need anything and we can make arrangements.

Also, I'm suggesting maybe a monthly DIY meet

Please disregard my previous post. Folks had a talk with me and we made a deal. Staying at my original location but with more "freedom" under some new conditions.
