I'm all up for it, but don't personally have any experience tearing apart the G's dash.

 

need help!!! i was on my way home from work when i about to open my car from my remote it wont unlock? then it wont lock... when i use the controls inside i can hear the click but the lock wont go all the way. the worst part is when i jump in the car to leave i noticed after starting the car my radio is on but the panel is off as if the lcd is off but music is running? then my ac switch is not working but ac is on and set to 75 deg. i disconnect the battery for 15min hoping reseting the ecu will work but it did not. guys anything you know about this problem? pls let me know thanks

 

I think something like that happened to me just one time. I restarted the G and all was good.. let it sit overnight with the battery disconnected?

 

What year is your G? They had a big problem with the printed circuit board and caused the a/c to stay on and no climate or radio controls to function.

About the door lock situation it sounds like a weak actuator. I have replaced a few of those in my time and it just seems after a while they get weak but still work to where you can hear it but not enough to lock or unlock the door

 

When I went to the dealer a couple weeks ago, my service advisor said I should do a carbon / fuel system flush, auto tranny flush, brake fluid, and power steering. I am at 38K miles, do I need to do this stuff asap?

 

I ordered my stillen sways a couple days ago and they should arrive this wednesday or thursday. Can anyone give me a hand with the install? I don't really have any experience installing them and don't really want to pay a shop to install them. Matthimself said he could get a lift available, but only on some random hours. Let me know if anyone can help and maybe we can work out a schedule to get the lift, and if not maybe some jack stands? Thanks.

 

Sounds like the "upsell". Check your maintenece schedule in your manual or on the forums to see what your really due for.

I'm going to the dealership tom. to have a clicking sound checked on the right side i think its coming from the brake? i have no clue what it is???? when im on full stop and when i step on the gas there is a clicking sound coming from the front or back on the right side sounds like when you put it on reverse notice there a clicking sound? sounds like that and when im yielding and step on the gas that annoying clicking sound comes on. then my transmission looks like needs service cause if im on tip tronic if i change gears on 2000rpm to 2500rpm on 2nd going 3rd you can hear and feel the engines kicking! and my pick up on 2nd gear going up is poor. I just want to ask some avice guys about my problems i just don't want to be screwed on the dealership. thanks!!!

yee aha i gotta take mine in still.. i want them to replace my head unit too.. it always skips on my tracks on my cds.. and my DVD disk rattles soooo much. and my rear view mirror homelink buttons are coming off
