good luck!

suntek doesnt make a ceramic tint...if it's suntek carbon, then it's carbon dyed.

Hey all -
Probably joining both the g35 + NorCal ranks soon. Long story, but if it works out, I'm probably going to need tints soon too.
I am interested in the Huper (sp?) ceramic - www.automalltintspecialist.com is recommended, but I can't see how they did on the matrix part of the window. I used to live in the Bay area and had California Tinting (I think) in Campbell do my BMW and they didn't do a good job on hte matrix (the little air bubbles look like *ss IMO).
Any suggestions? Someone said Omega does a good job with it, but I want Ceramic tint (didn't see confirmation that they offer ceramic tint.)
TIA and hope to be seeing y'all soon!

^^^I did a lot of research on the dot matrix issue you refer to.
Some shops want to apply a black vinyl strip across the upper back window matrix, then tint over that. I didn't like that look.
Then some shops will sand down the matrix (nope, not with my defroster wires there, no way)
Then some will apply additional adhesive of some sort for better adhesion on the matrix, but...that voids the warranty on the film. Huper will void there's b/c they haven't approved any adhesive other than whats on their film. I asked Sindey about that and that's what I learned about the extra adhesive technique.
So, what Sindey at automall tint does is they apply the tint as normal, spend more time on the matrix area with squeegeeing and apply some heat in that area for good bonding.
There's some small areas that lifted from the matrix, but unless you really look for it, you can't see where that happened.
Maybe Huper has approved an extra adhesive by now, idk. Got my tints done almost a year ago at automalltint.

No problems with electronics reception just like HO, which only has a 5 year warranty.
I'll try to post photos after I have my tint next week.

-or-
20% all around [i'm leaning more towards for this one]
