i'm in san jose. so, pleasanton is about 30-40 mins from me without traffic. and, since he's not opened on sundays and i work everyday except sundays, it's a bit of a hassle now to go there, drop off my car, and pick it up again. whereas, there's a good place literally right around the corner from my house that's offering me the same price.

Z2G, im sorry we couldnt be of service. Like supperdds mentioned, inflation and cost of operation went up. As some of you know that window films rely on petrochemical-base products. While many of these componet chemicals almost doubled in cost for most of 2006. (think gas prices) My supplier raised their prices (5% X 4) in the last few years. As much as we would prefer not to, we find that we must put through a small price increase to cover our cost. Or if you prefer we offer cheap low grade materials (3 or 5yrs. warranty films) at the same old price? We can do that but we prefer not to. We value your business very much and look forward to continuing to provide the Forums w/ quality products and services you deserve. For faster service give us a call. Please feel free to call us anytime.

It's all good. Don't get me wrong, I think you're a GREAT tint shop. And, your prices are reasonable...on the lower end with the forum discount. Just for me, it's a bit of a drive and it's too much trouble to arrange it at work since I work 6 days a week. Last time I had it done at your place, I only worked about 4 days a week and I was able to go to your place on a weekday on my day off.

By the way, I got it done at a place literally a couple blocks from my house. It was more of a convenience thing. I like Vince a lot (nice guy) and I like his work....too bad he's just so far from me and doesn't work on Sundays.

Sorry we dont carry ceramic. We do have something similar to the non-metal ceramic film called SunTek Carbon.

SUNTEK CARBON

-Carbon-dyed construction provides a great look that will not fade

-No metal layers that may interfere with cell phones, radio, or navigation system signals

-Provides excellent optical clarity while reducing day and nighttime glare

-Lifetime warranty that includes fading

Other ceramic brands are 5yrs warranty.

Sedan: 3hrs. for 7 windows

Anothe reco for Vincent of Omega. He did a great job on my coupe last week. 50/35/35. Installation took about two and a half hours. It would have taken less time but a fly decided to go kamikaze and splat on the window just as Vincent placed the film.

Another great job by Vince!

Vince did a great job on my car as well last Friday. I got 45 on the sides and 35 on the rear windshield. I also detailed the car with some zaino this weekend.

Pre-tint

i got the Suntek Carbon. Normally he uses the Llumar, but if you ask him he will go ahead and use the Suntek Carbon. Not sure if there is a price difference though. There is a tad of bronze hue with the Suntek though, if that doesn't bother you.
