Because the dealership is 300+ miles east of where I live.

... and because I hate calling people on the phone

I've e-mailed back and forth with my guy a few times, so I figure it has a high probability of successful response.

Anywayz...nah...I wouldn't worry about a Z tube. Heck, it's an Nissan oem stock intake for the Z with exact same powerplant and drivetrain as our G's. My Dealer is mod friendly and sells an AEM CAI. So I'd say...no worries with a Z tube.

As far as what mods void warrany...lol...long debated subject on driver. Won't start that on this thread. IMO in a nutshell...no mods void warranty unless they can prove it caused the failure.
Search or google Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
Well, regarding mods do you think they will not service my G because I have Tein Type Flex installed on my car?

Ehh...depends on the dealer. Some might try to make that an issue, some no. Can't really tell you what they say. IMO...thats a suspension mod and nothing to do with axle bearings. There's aTSB on your issue anywayz. It's a known issue with dealers and our G's.

Try Nebraska

But we've all made fun of me in another thread already.. you totally missed the boat on that one.

At least I won't run into 6 people driving the same car as me when going to work... that's nice.

oh...being this Northern Cali section, thought yuz from these parts.
They run u out of that section and now u in this one??
Doesn't matter where ppl from as long as they have a G they're good in my book....dont cha know... (sorry, couldnt help saying that)

FYI to all: Thought I had the famous clicking noise awhile back, but was intermitent and at all speeds. Checked it out and it was those wimpy **** 10mm nuts for the rear upper dampener mounts. They were loose and dampener rattling. Tightened and noise went away. Don't know about oem dampeners doing this, mine are aftermarket. Wish Infiniti would've beef those up some, design flaw imo.
Something to think about if its not just the clicking noise on take off.

What do I know....I'm a native Californian.

Let us know what becomes of your issue with your Dealer and what they discover.

Looks like you misspelled "naieve"... OOH BURN
JK/LOL/ROFL

Actually after e-mailing my dealer he really didn't even ask for any more clarification, he's just like "yeah it looks like it's under basic warranty and even if that was up you'd still have powertrain warranty so go ahead and bring it in"...

so they're cool about it, looks like. Road trip time!
