My only regret about the PS3 is that it's not backwards compatible. So, if I wanna play all my PS2 games, I'll have disconnect the PS3 and hook up the PS2 again.

Mine is I can play ps2 and ps1 games, I don't understand why yours would not be??

That was the problem with the very first Blu-ray players, they didn't have a way to connect to the internet. HD-DVD players, on the other hand, always had ethernet ports.

I just bought a 1080p LCD TV but I'm waiting on the Blu-Ray player. Sony is coming out with a player in December that I'm waiting on. I don't have the specs at hand right now, I'll post them later.
