Damn...thought I wouldn't get stopped since I have only 35% all around(except windshield) and it was a bright sunny day. Oh well, I knew the risks and now gonna pay. Anways, just wondering how many of you have been caught more than once and how much did the tint tickets costs each time (I'm considering keeping the front tints and chancing another one). I might also consider changing them to the V-Kool 70%....anyone have experience with these?

I would like tint but this is the only reason that keeps me from doing so, is getting cited for something so small...

City cops usually don't care...it's almost always the CHP that will stop you for front tinted windows.

I think even the hupers are still considered "illegal" even @ 50%. I thought I was gonna slide by with my 35%..guess not. If I stay "illegal" I'm just going to stay with the 35% in the fronts.

I mainly want the tints in fronts for sun/heat reduction(and for looks if possible).

i have had my 40% hupers for over 4 years now. zero problems with law enforcement. yeah, it's illegal but it's not that noticeable.

Nope...only thing he got me for was tints, but as he was writing me up, he walked to the front and got me for no front plates too.

You might be right...I was riding on stock 18" wheels(for 4 yrs) up until last summer when I got AME 19" more aggressive set(probably put no more than 5k miles on them). Everything else was the same. Maybe the new wheels got his attention.

Anyone with a completely stock looking G get stopped for tints?
