Anything in Monterey?

Anything in Monterey?
Hey guys, sorry to bother you.... I live in Texas, but spend a lot of time in NorCal for work (Fremont to be exact). I am flying my wife out for her birthday, and we are going to spend the weekend in Monterey.
Does anyone have suggestions on things to do in Monterey? I am looking for places to go, restaurants, bars, etc. I am not really into big clubs (although I doubt Monterey has any of those). I will be there Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so I have plenty of time.
Thanks in advance.... I may try to make it out to one of your meets some day. I spend about half my time in Fremont, but have never made it out. There is also a good chance I will be moving out here for 3-4 months and bring my car out with me. I have considered a permanent move to the Bay Area, but I am having a hard time leaving the cheap living (and no state income tax) in Texas (my work has been begging for a couple years now).

Check out Cannery row in the evening. There are some decent bars and they may have a live band Friday or Saturday.

As far as other stuff, maybe go kayaking on the bay, or do 17 Mile Drive through Pebble Beach. You might want to try MyTravel Guide or Trip Advisor.

Go to Carmel and eat at the Hog's Breath Inn. It's a restaurant Clint Eastwood used to own. Sit by the outside fireplace and order up the seared ahi tuna. Lattitudes in Pacific Grove is a good place to eat, too. A little bit pricey but the food is outstanding.
