Anything in Monterey?

Carmel has LOTS of great places to eat. Grab lunch in Carmel and walk around. If you enjoy art work, they have some of the best galleries to stop in at. Make sure to go check out Robert Knight's gallery if you are into nature/wildlife photography. He has been winning a lot of awards.
There are also lots of wineries and tasting rooms around Carmel and Monterrey if you are down to check out some great wine. I really enjoy Morgan's wines. Every Sunday they do a library tasting and bust out the old stuff!

If you go to Pebble Beach, may I suggest "Roy's" in Spanish Bay for dinner (upscale restaurant with beautiful view of golf course and ocean view) or lunch at "Stix" right next store for more casual sports bar/restaurant. Excellent French Dip, Philly Cheese steak sandwich/fries. Also one of the best "Bloody Mary" drink. Either place, the wife will enjoy the view.
I think it's $10 entrance fee into 17 mile drive, but you'll get it back when you eat at either places.

If you tell the park ranger that you need to use the ATM, Wells Fargo or Bank of the West, whichever one is at the club house, I don't think they can charge you. At least that's what my buddy that lives in Pacific Grove said works for him. I just slow to 15 MPH through the ranger's booth and hold my badge out the window and keep on going.

I actaully played out here a couple of weeks ago when I was in Fremont (at Sping Valley in Milpitas) and I think I shot around 100. Shooting a 100 at Pebble Beach doesn't seem right....
