i brought along a really old laptop with a faded screen so i can barely judge color while editing. someone let me know if i'm overdoing anything (exposure, contrast, saturation, etc). thanks thanks

damn... i just checked my camera's exif and it's already past 55k shutter actuations... (canon rates its average life at around 50k). going to hold out as long as i can o.O

Wow? Already? How do you check. I remember reading that there wasn't an accurate way of getting it for the 20D. I think mine's around 20-30k.

A couple of shots I "HDR'd" to see if I could get something nice. It takes a lot but you do end up saving some shots that didn't look nice to begin with.

if you upload a pic directly to Flickr (without editing in PS/LR first), it's in the exif data. the reason mine is so high is because i bought my camera used... i think i've personally only done 10k max on it.
