^What he said

The spacer is a must as far as performance bolt ons. If he wants better handling, a good set of sway bars should be on top of the list.

Oh..and if he needs helping installing any of his mods....hit me up

Let me add...intakes are mainly for sound and produce very little gains......the Fujita I have for sale looks great! and sounds awesome!

There aren't too many bang-for-the-buck performance mods for the G35. The best mod would probably be the Motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer. Intakes do not do much, if anything for this car other than add sound. A drop-in filter in the stock air box works well. If you insist on an "intake", get an OEM Z-tube and JWT pop-charger.

If you have a revup VQ, don't forget the MREV2 along with that 5/16 spacer.

Suspension...that's where most of my $$ are and very happy with that investment.

well are driveway is very steep and his g35 barely makes it up without scraping now so he can't get coilovers

If his main goal is performance, then get the Motordyne 5/16" spacer and pocket the rest of the $1200. End of story.

Everything else is just for sound or looks.

buy 1/2 of a supercharger kit!!! +1 for MD spacer and Mrev2 though. That with a z-tube and pop charger will def tickle the butt dyno. Sways and a strut bar, and maybe some stickers for boosted performance!

You don't have to set the coilovers to be to low. You can have a stock ride height with some coilover systems.

+1 on spacer, best bang for the buck period. What kind of performance is your dad looking for?

If it is line performance then I recommend a smaller final driver gear, 3.9+. Couple'd with the spacer I think this combo will be killer, will definitely surprised many people.

There are a bunch of spacers for sale in marketplace and on ebay. I noticed a difference right away. Since your dad has a 2003, he does not have mrev so dont worry about that.

Chris is selling his Fujita for $200 I believe. He takes great care of his stuff and it looks nice sitting in engine bay.

that is true about coilovers but good ones can get kind of pricey
any he is looking for more acceleration power and maybe a some better handling but he'd rather have more acceleration power

he wants a shortshifter also so would stillen be a good brand to buy from or are there any other good shortshifters out there?
