how many have gotten in trouble because of no front plates? It just looks so much cleaner.

Get the Stillen Front License Plate Holder. It'll utilize your tow-hook adapter.

One victim right here. Although when I went in to have the ticket signed off, none of the cops on duty wanted to bother with getting up to actually see the car. Chances are even if you get one, you could just go in and have the ticket easily signed off with no work.

its law in cali to have it..you become an easy target.

i agree, it looks way better with no plate...

i think ebay sells them for 20-25 bucks, stillen is like 50-75+
or theres a DIY on here..lol.

or 3m sticky tape it up...dont drill on ur bumper!!
u might get cracks in the paint around the hole...no bueno.

i think imma try the 3m method. if not, the DIY.

not worth being hassled. let alone get caugh for other stuff on top of that no front plate...

I say you leave it off. Put 5% tint all the way around, too.

As mentioned before, there is a DIY that shows ya how to convert your stock tow hook into a license plate holder. I tried it myself with tools I had laying around the garage. I thought it was pretty easy. Only advice would be to get a spare tow hook. I could try to hook you up with the steps if you want.

Not for CHP. CHP doesn't get a penny for any of the fines. The Department just wants compliance.

I wasn't speaking as cop on the previous post. Yes it's illegal, but I've never said what my personal preference is. And no one on this board has ever seen my car, if you smell what I'm steppin' in?
