Re: No front license violation

just attach the license plate and go to a police station to get it signed off.

Re: No front license violation

hahahahaha...sowwie to hear that! not sure in S.F. but got that while back in freakmont, wait for the notice come in the mail, either pay the fine or have it sign off and pay "less" fine, i had it sign off, and send the ticket in, but they send me other notice says i have to pay the bigger fine , think it was around 20 bucks and 10 bucks if you had it signed off!

the stupid thing was, its so hard to find a parking spot at FPD, i had drive around a while to find an copper to sign it, and still end up paying bigger fine .

Re: No front license violation

My friend got stopped for a no front plate either.
She had it in her trunk but didn't have screws to put it on.
Anyways, she said she paid a $100.00 for the fine.

I used to have no front plates and learned the hard way.

Good luck man.

Re: No front license violation

I just went to the SFPD website, and they state a sign off by any peace officer and a ten dollar fine , not bad! So from now on plates in the city and plateless elsewhere.

Re: No front license violation

Okay, after reading this thread, I went back and checked my G. I don't see any holes or mounting for a front license plate, so what's the deal?

Re: No front license violation

if you're in SF the plate is a must.. they're really big on that..

just slap on your plate using a paper clip and cut the screws in half

Re: No front license violation

I made a contraption similar to what Strictlyz sells and used the tow bolt hole for mounting the brackett.

Re: No front license violation

in the Mods or DIY forum, there's a couple of ways to attach a front plate w/out drilling holes in the bumper. But if you have $60 to blow, you can get a Stillen or StrictlyZ one.
