Parking at Oakland Coliseum BART station

How safe is parking your G at the Oakland Coliseum BART station? I know it is probably okay during daytime but how about evenings?

Thanks!

I used to park there a lot 5-6 yrs ago, if you're leaving it there all day, then you're likely to get a ding here and there..........

I wouldn't suggest it. I have been there at the station late at night waiting for a the BART. Not a pleasant atmosphere.

My sister parks there all the time as she commutes to the city for work...........a few months ago, somebody tried to pry off the headlights off her 03 A4..........as everyone already said it.........don't do it......if possible, have someone drop you off at the station.

from the colliseum to berkley isn't that far. I would try and get over to 580 and go up to 980/24 via 580. way better than 880 in the morning. don't know where you are coming from but if you are far enough south take 238 to 580 then take the 24 exit to berkeley after macarthur. I lived at 1200 lakeshore for a while and 580 was always MUCH better than 880.

I will be driving from Alameda, where I work, to Berkeley during evening hours. Since I will be coming from Alameda, I will have to take 880. Don't know how bad the traffic is on 880N during evening. I know it is bad during mornings.

Thanks!
