I found an unbelievable deal on a Vortech V2 supercharger. I don’t have any pictures due to the fact that the kit is in Chicago still on a car. As soon as the weather breaks I’ll head over there to have it installed and tuned. Can’t wait to enter the world of forced-induction. I think I’m even more excited to get the gauges installed. Plus I think my K2 should look pretty mean with the intercooler behind it!! Ok I’m excited, if ya can’t tell 

The guy selling this kit is going with a twin turbo setup. I asked him if he recommended replacing or upgrading any of the components and he said everything works fine. He thinks it would be just wasting money replacing any current components. I know J had an issue with his but you have more to deal with in regards to a turbo vs a supercharger. Of course my fingers are crossed.

Just picked up three Nismo Aero rear lips (Brand New). Got one of each: DP, DG and IP.

Gonna keep the DP and sell the other two, check 'em out:

Got some Bosch Icons from Amazon to replace some worthless Valeo's from Tirerack.
I got the Valeos BOGO from Tirerack and they worked well, you know except for the fact that the driver side wiper never had any pressure at the center point where it actually hooked into the arm. And thus it left a nice unwiped area on the downstroke on every swipe smack dab in the center of my visual field out of the windshield.

Most annoying thing ever. Replaced them with the Bosch's, same design, just better made. Best wipers I've ever had, no streaking, perfect windshield every wipe.

How do they wipe at speed? I have some rain-ex of the same design and I hate them...They leave the same unwiped area and have a bad habit of lifting even at moderate speed.

This was the EXACT problem I had with the Valeo's. At highway speed they would wipe fine on the upstroke and then when coming back down, the driver side one would lift off the center and leave a nice streak in the most important area of my vision. At first I thought it was just weird rubber issues but when I looked at how the wiper sat, you could tell even though the center is being held down by the arm, the curve in the Valeos wouldn't allow for much pressure in the central area. This at speed seemed to cause a minor lift and a horrible totally unwiped spot.

I've driven at speed twice now with the Icons, and they have zero lift that I've noticed and this was both in very cold temperatures which seemed to make the Valeos worse. I compared both wipers before I put the Icons on, I can say they the construction is more robust, the Icons sit better on the windshield and the rubber edge itself has a lot of pliability/give in the construction (not the material itself). I think this allows for it to sit on the windshield better and more firmly.

I'm pretty happy with the decision to switch. I'll let you all know if they begin to act weird like the Valeos in which case I will switch back to the regular kind.

Tom the sizes are 424A and 417B. About 27-30 buckos total shipped from Amazon.

A little while ago I snagged a 6-pack (3 applications per pack) of this:

http://www.detailedimage.com/303-M2/...t-P16/Reviews/

for 99 cents so I'm gonna try these first, the reviews say they bring blades back to life. will let you know if it's worth the money (99cents for 18 applications isn't too shabby)
