Hi mate. Yes I know...his name is David and I met up with him and 1 other 350 at Boxhill near Dorking a couple of Sundays ago. His car got all the attention, cos if you didn't know, Boxhill is a regular meeting point for bikers. They seemed to love his car. The doors were a bit heavy if you were carrying something and only had one hand to lift it. But they certainly look cool. He's also done a lot of engine mods and is now ready to fit a supercharger (wish I had the money to spare).

As for modding mine...I think as and when the parts wear out I'll upgrade. Seems a shame to ditch perfectly good parts. I'd like bigger wheels like on the silver 350 below and then anything cheap that'll inprove the power. But first I've gotta sort out the satnav/dvd and then fit a snooper (or similar), as I think I may be getting a ticket in the post soon. I was zapped by a smokie with a tripod camera today doing 38 in a 30.

Haven't planned on any meet too far from home yet but if something came up at my local club (www.sussexjapclub.com) I'd probably go. I did attend the Skyline meet back in 2005 in my friends R33 at Gaydon (Heritage Motor Museum). That was such a great day. The south coast boys arrived in convoy (all 12 of us ) and at the front of the museum was a Land Rover/Range Rover meet. We certainly turned heads when we cruised through the middle of them to the rear car park. The snobby guys sons were filming us on their mobile phone cameras.

I'll be at the *** Club meet at Boxhill on the 3rd of March if you can make it.

I hope to be at the Boxhill meet on 3rd March. Normally I go to the Reading *** car meet each month and the Wokingham SXOC meet (having previously owned an S15).

I still have a Japanese Addzest (Clarion) system installed in my 350 which has meant the centre console screen has been replaced by a 7" LCD one and the stereo is a Pioneer Carrozeria double din unit. For the purposes of daily driving, the sat nav is useless as being an Addzest version, it won't read UK/European maps (don't know why - it could be the format perhaps?) so I have a Road Angel Navigator instead. I also have hooked up my Archos player so that I can at least use the screen for watching dvd's. The car does have a built in tv tuner as well, but it is useless as the Japs braodcast on different frequencies than us. One day, I'll rip it all out and start again, but for the moment, it'll do.
THe next Reading meet is in two weeks time if anyone wants to make the journey...?

Great! I'll be at Boxhill too. We'll have to try and park all the 350's in a row, it'll make for good photos

Hello all, i am just about to import a GT350 into the UK. Im trying to find some insurance companies who have the car on their list and its proving a little difficult. Do you have any insurers that may be able to help?

Thanks

You wont regret it!!

Black seems to be the rarest of colours here, not that there are many of any colour here.

SatNav - You may have issues trying to get it working, I do not know of any owners running with UK satnav on the factory unit, that's not to say it cannot be done.

My primary focus would be on the rims - best cosmetic mod in my opinion, makes a great difference!

I would tear out the sat nav and replace it with either a UK spec tv/dvd screen/player or some gauges. Then get a portable sat nav. I wouldn't get hung up about it tho. Rims - yes the way to go - especially if you can get a car in black!! Volks Gold/Chrome 5 spoke 19's on a black 350GT would look awesome!
Just don't do the 22" chrome bling thing as it would make the car look stoopid.
