Just received these

These just showed up today - Alex you should get a refund for the 2 day international shipping...and send it to me

So first off - these things do EXACTLY as they are supposed to do. As the Brits say

"...it does what it says on the tin..."

These things work awesome. They fit my Michelin 2 1/2 ton jack stands perfectly and the mate up with the factory jack points perfectly. My only regret is that I didn't get some of these years ago.

Packaging was professionally done, the product is really good quality and you can tell these things are going to last a lifetime.

Alex - well done. Capitalism is alive and well. Yes they are pricey...but you get what you pay for. I haven't found anything that works this well - yes, you can make your own, but these things look professional and there is no chance the car is going anywhere.

---------------------------------
Edit: These things get better and better. Just realized that if I turn the jack stand 90 deg, the adapters fit perfectly in the rectangular jack points in my wife's SAAB. Alex...you truely are the man.

Alex,
I just realized these will only work on one set of my stands. Bummer! Are they still $45?

Gabe35Coupe, did you ever put these on the 370 forum?

Yep, $45 shipped for 2 pads.

BTW, Harbor Freight sells 3-ton stands for $20 list, and often has them on sale for under $15.

I have a question, i just bought a set of 4 jack stands and a xl-35 floor jack from northern tools today. the 4 jack stands are 2 ton double locking from torin....the desin is not as indented as the HF ones, do you think your product might work? i know theyre not made for them but i dont want to support the car on just the 2 little points on the stands.

Thanks,
Robert

I assume these are the stands you bought?

HF jacks seem to have deeper saddles:

You can remove a mm or two from the bottom of the adapters, as the material is easy to machine or file down. But there is a limit of how much can be removed, because of the depth of the adapter groove -- you still want some 'meat' there, for strength.

Do you still have a set of 2 available?

It's $45 shipped, correct?

I just got myself a jack and 2 jack stands from Harbor Freight... they look like the ones in the second link you posted above, but I'm going to go check to make sure.

flipper i am curious, but do you have these mades for floor jacks as well? I'd like to get one.

Will your jack stand adpaters work for ppl with aftermarket sideskirts such as ings? I know the ings is very tall on the inside and i'm just worried about the adapters touching the sideskirts. Concerned about them clearing my sideskirts.
