That's a nice looking engine bay (cosmetically speaking). It came at a steep cost though (engine didn't run correctly afterwards). Let this be a warning to those who don't do their homework before attempting a full wire tuck.

hey Kurtis! quick question man, how long is the hose that replaced your OEM front/upper coolant hose?

Pretty sure it was 3' in length. Earl's Pro-Lite 350. Can't remember if it was -8 or -10.

has anyone, besides those of you who have repainted the entire car, had the front clip just behind the grill painted? how hard was it to access, as in can i disassemble myself and bring to a body shop, and how much should i expect to pay to have it sprayed? also, same question applies to the wiper cowl

The radiator core support is a large piece and takes quite a bit of work to remove for painting. It's doable but was too much work for me to bother. The windshield cowls are easy. They're held on by 3 or 4 10mm M6 bolts.

I had mine painted... cant remember how much it was, it was done with some other stuff... doesn’t matter now though because the entire car has been painted since then.Originally Posted by DrewTheSuit

If you paint the covers over batter and brake fluid, I think it looks good to paint the rad core support too (more important than the plastic under wiper, imo).
