Has anyone have used both the Z H-tech springs and S-tech springs? Which one is stiffer, and how stiffer is it?

The reason I'm asking is because I have the Eibach sport-line for the G, and I seriously hate how soft it is.

Thank you

If you are looking for springs with a 1.1" drop F & R with OEM sport suspension spring rates (Linier), get a set of RS*R Down 350Z springs. They are awesome. No spring mount mod needed either.

Ok,

Kind of a noob here so....

I'm reading all the posts, looking at pics... and from what i can tell, G35 S-techs will supply a 'decent' ride for a DD and clear most staggered (20x10 +25) 20's with out fender rolling. But a camber kit is reccomended, at least for the rears to try and save tires.

Would anyone disagree with this, or offer a better suggestion???

Just trying to figure out what i'm gonna need. I have a sad sad 06 stocker on the way, and I want to get my Mods ready for when she gets here.

On a similar note, if someone ran S-techs (g35 or not) what is a reccomended camber kit?

Thanks everyone, very useful thread. (and I was about to start a new one, silly noob. )

I could be going crazy, but I don't think lowering spring choice makes any difference on whether a wheel/tire will tuck into the fenderwell without rolling/cutting. It's pretty much up to the wheel offset and tire size.

Not really sure about how bad the camber issue is since my tires are relatively new, but I'm not running a camber kit myself. A little negative looks good though

Thats true, and I probably won't be rocking anything so extreme that its an issue. But the overall drop and compression of the spring does come into play with the OD and width of the wheel.

You are right again about a lil camber, I do loves me some camber... I just can't afford it with the tires we all run...

No matter if it's a tall spring or a short spring, the suspension should "track" the same when it's compressed. If the wheel isn't going to make it past the fender with a low spring, it won't with a stock spring if you hit a big bump either, as far as I know. I'm sure a camber kit would affect this, though - probably allowing for a less extreme wheel offset.

If the wheel never goes into the fender, you never have to worry about it, but it will every once in a while even with a stock spring.
