carbign craft mirror covers?

hey its been a month or 2 since some drivers here have installed the CF mirror covers. can I get some feedback? How was fitment? does it look cheesy? How does it stand up to the weather? It affixes with double stick tape or just snaps on existing mirror? All comments appreciated well in advance.

can I also seem some pictures of not just the mirrors but of the whole car with the mirrors on?

Personally they are not my cup of tea, i think they look cheesy

its a overlay first off and if i ended up doing them which i will never, i would have to paint the inside of the mirror housing black because it looks gey having only the overlay come to the edge, and i would also have to paint the base as well as it dont look right =0/

just my 2 cents & opinion here are some pix for you

Joe, if you're going to post pix of my car, please refrain from talking ****...The OP did not ask for YOUR opinion, but rather the opinion of those that actually have it installed...thank you

I'm surprised you didn't post pix of your own car to brag and threadjack like you've been doing lately

To the OP: you can make up your own opinion from the pix...the fitment is pretty good. They just slide on and attach with double sided tape. So far they've held up well with no chips or cracks. Attached is a full pic of the car.

yeah...all comments from those who have them installed

it doesn't matter if it's my car...the point is don't talk **** about a product and then post another member's pictures of said product installed

i dont see what is the big deal if he posted a pic of your car and talked **** about the product installed

it is a public forum after all and the whole point is to get feedback, opinions, comments etc so people can base their judgement

they look good to me, although i do agree with scootch on the mirrors having to be black on the inside and also have cf on the bottom of them.

don't worry, 617g, at least no one can touch/talk **** anything about your ballin chargespeed body kit it looks beastly. can't wait till you get the CF pieces for the front bumper

that wasn't my point, but thank you...

btw, there IS cf on the bottom. It wraps around the entire mirror. I go agree that it would look better with the inside painted black, but if I decide to take them off, I'll be stuck with black mirrors Plus, it's a hassle to get it painted and quite frankly I don't feel like paying for it at the moment From head-on, it looks good...I don't mind the insides being silver too much.

On a side note, I waxed the mirrors last night and they look pretty damn good imo

its a good buy for the price, people are paying $120 for these convex lens from japan along, for $10 more you get the carbon fiber covers all together, they do look pretty nice to me.
