14k. the rep told me that if i wasnt on a business policy there first offer would have been 36k. knowing that i just got ripped off 22k+ makes me wanna go crazy on that agent.

Wow, I don't even know what to say. Its a shame the insurance company would only give you 14K, maybe a public adjuster that works for you instead of the insurance company can get you more $$$ out of the damages, they basically would go to court for you if they find that you've been ripped off by the insurance company. Hope everything works out okay in the end

I feel for you...

Next insurance policy read all of the print, even the fine print... Make sure you are comfortable with all of the payouts even if it takes you an hour to do so... Don't let any agent pressure you to sign anything until you are totally comfortable with the documents you are putting your signature on.

It looks like you can part out much of the car and get some money back out of it... Brembos look ok, interior peices, glass, and so on... Sell everything like the chop shops do and you can recover a couple of grand easily.
