^ Hah. Several of the RareJDM team members have one, but we didn't think to ask one of them. Actually, I didn't even know that the iPhone had a Level App.

Going to eat dinner then I'll post the pics.

Luckily my boxes stop in the crevice just before this point. That was an area I debated back and forth about when I was creating my boxes. I'm lucky I stopped there

Alright, the bar is installed.
One of the holes on the car is bigger than the bolt. So it had a lot of wiggle room. So, I first installed the brackets snug, but not tightened down. Then when I got the bar in, I tightened up the bolts holding the bracket in.

I haven't taken the car out yet for a test drive. I'll do that in the morning on my way to work.

As you can see, it is level :P

My amp on the other hand isn't. Now I need to make a bracket for my cap. I have had it installed with Velcro for a while now. Mainly because I didn't want to put any holes in the carpet . Now all bets are off

Excellent D.I.Y.!
Installed correctly and looks very NICE ! Great Job!

Each Mounting Bracket should be installed with the two Mounting Screws (Coupe towards the rear, Sedan towards the front), tightened just enough to hold the Bracket in place. Then, while pushing the Bracket up against the Inner Shock Tower Enclosure, tighten the two Bracket Mounting Screws. After tightening the Screws, a small "gap" may appear between the Bracket and the Inner Shock Tower Enclosure. This "gap" will disappear when adjusting the Bar. Adjust the Bar until Brackets become "snug" and no movement occurs.

CAUTION: DO "NOT" OVERTIGHTEN THE BAR!!

Lastly, tighten (snug) all remaining Hardware and your off!

Potentially, the force applied (by the Bar) could "bend" the sheet metal, of the Inner Shock Tower Enclosure. We have yet to encounter this problem but it should be noted.

$85 for just the bar (even though my ttl bill was quite a bit more than that - and I still have a few more pieces to do )

Thumbs up I’m Finally A$$ Planted!

Nice bar Zack (zackt69) & Dave (OH6 G35) ~ great quality! Thanks for the install help Darren (SouthbayGSedan)

I got the bar a few weeks ago in a hardy very much ready to ship box (plenty of packing material to protect)… it has taken a while to install because I wanted to black chrome plate the bar & hardware and powder coat the brackets a different color – it didn’t turn out quite as expected and some stuff had to be re-done – the bar looks a little chromier than when first received for some reason, it’s not quite a black as I’d like, but its decent – the pics below aren’t really indicative of what it looks like in person (especially the brackets) – but I’m not Marcus or Grant
~ anyway, that’s why it has taken so long to install.

As for performance… unfortunately I don’t drive the car much these days so it’s very hard to give fair evaluation of suspension stuff (I still don’t know how I feel about springs installed about 2 months ago because I’ve only driven the car twice since then)… but on my semi-spirited drive home from Darren’s; the rear end did seem very well planted. I didn’t push hard corners too much (yet) but it does feel tight and stable. Once I have a chance to try and swing the @ss around and get a real feel I’ll post better driving impression – but that might be a long time from now so I figured I’d at least give my prelim thoughts and post some pics.

If your car likes to shake it’s @ss like some hot chick at spring break this bar is not for you… but if you’re trying to rid the flex and squirrelly characteristics sometimes exhibited by the sedan – from what I can tell so far, this bar is a step in the right direction.
