Touch ups (Chip fixes-KurumaZ/Data System) FIXED
Spent a cpl days with OEM touch up paint, 2000 grit wet sanding and my porter cable. I had chips in my bumper and data system grille that I just could not stand anymore. I think it came out pretty darn good
Here are some pics
The wet sanding freaked me out and looks like crap until you use the porter cable over it... Ya just got to be careful not to burn thru the paint... I did that in 2 places but fixed it up with a dab of touch up and re-sanding / polishing...

Cool, that means I did a pretty good job!
You can see in the first 2 pics the wet sanding marks on the grille...
The bumper had at least 20 - 25 chips where I had to fill and sand out as well... The bumper looked like the grille did on the whole front and sides.

First step, go to Infiniti Dealer and OEM touch up paint. Then wash areas to be touched up very good and use alcohol to get any wax out of chiped areas. Wipe clean and let dry a cpl mins...
Next (you need a very fine artist brush) fill in the chips with the touch up paint, just enough to cover the area to be repaired... do not over use ... **Let Dry For At Least 12 HRS**
Take 2000 grit wet sand paper (Get Wet) and LIGHTLY sand the area smooth... Do not use to much pressure or you will go thru the clear and base coats... Wipe away water and residue, you should have a smooth area where you can no longer see the bump of touch up paint (It blends in w/ surrounding sanding marks)...
Use Porter cable w/ Sonus #1 and white buff pad to get out the stuborn wet sand marks (again not to much pressure) 5-6 passes should do the trick...wipe and repeat if needed...
Porter Cable w/ Sonus #2 and White buff pad to buff to mirror finish...
Porter Cable w/ Sonus #3 Final Finish and blue buff pad to show room finish...
Use NXT for protection and the final step...
